With the early scratching of Prairie Flower, 10 two-year-old fillies remain for the $107,250 Dequetteville Stakes. Two of them had their last start in the Listed Cinderella Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville on 14 March and two in a 2YO Handicap over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 26 March, two are unraced and the others came via different races. No trainer has more than one runner.

The early favourite is Bistro who was a 3 length winner of the Cinderella Stakes to give her two wins from three starts. Second favourite is Aitch Two Oh who debuted with a 4.2 length win over 1050m at Morphettville on 26 December then resumed for a 5 length win over 1000m at Morphettville to make it two wins from two starts. Third favourite is Wee Nessy who has only had one start where she ran 1.25 lengths 2nd in the Listed Festival of Racing over 1000m at Flemington on 5 March.

See You In Heaven debuted with a 1.25 length win in the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes over 1000m at Flemington then ran 3.8 lengths in the Cinderella Stakes when resuming. Killiako is a first-starter who won a trial by over 2 lengths. Vallencourt debuts here and won a trial at Colac, while Naiconi has been runner-up at both her starts.  All other runners are currently 20 to 1 or longer.

1. See You In Heaven

Debuted with a 1.25 length win in the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes over 1000m at Flemington then ran 3.8 lengths in the Cinderella Stakes when resuming. Jockey Paul Gatt won this race on Presumed Innocent in 2002. One of the dangers.

2. Bistro

Was a 3 length winner of the Cinderella Stakes to give her two wins from three starts. That was a top run and she should be in the finish.

3. Aitch Two Oh

Debuted with a 4.2 length win over 1050m at Morphettville on 26 December then resumed for a 5 length win over 1000m at Morphettville to make it two wins from two starts. Has drawn barrier 1 and is one of the main chances.

4. Wee Nessy

Has only had one start where she ran 1.25 lengths 2nd in the Listed Festival of Racing over 1000m at Flemington on 5 March.

5. Rockstar Megsy

She won her first start over 1000m at Morphettville Parks then was 2.8 lengths 4th in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 5 March.

7. Naiconi

Has been runner-up at both her starts. Gets blinkers for the first time and is in the mix.

8. Sandpiper

Debuted for 0.7 length 2nd over 1050m at Morphettville on 11 December. Not the worst.

9. Aesculus

Has had one race for 6.5 lengths 4th over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 26 March. Trainer Chris Bieg won this race with Dashitude in 2012. Drawn the outside barrier and prefer others.

10. Killiako

A first-starter who won a trial by over 2 lengths. Trainer Phillip Stokes won this race with Freestyle in 2005. Watch the market.

11. Vallencourt

Debuts here and won a trial at Colac.
