2. Pearl Adios (2)

One of 2 runners for Leon Macdonald & Andrew Gluyas (the other is Party Princess). He won 2 races in a row at Balaklava then Morphettville before 4th in the Listed Port Adelaide Guineas last start. Should run well.

3. Star Vega (7)

He won by 2.5 lengths on debut over 1400m at Benalla on 31 March, then was a close 2nd over 1500m at Sandown Lakeside on 19 April at his only other start. He was held up and struck interference in that race and looked unlucky not to have won. Should feature in the finish again.

4. Party At Artie’s (10)

Was a 1.3 length winner of 3YO Maiden Plate over 1500m at Bendigo on 30 April, at his 3rd race start. He led all the way in that race and perhaps that is the key to him. Place chance.

5. Amenophis (3)

Resumed for 7 lengths 7th over 1300m at Seymour on 14 April. Looks safely held.

6. Wine Barron (12)

One of 2 runners for Michael Hickmott (the other is Rabtat). Has a win and 2 places from his 4 starts. At his latest start he was 0.4 length 3rd over 1600m in a BM 62 Handicap at Morphettville on 29 April. In the mix.

7. Rabtat (4)

One start for one win. Debuted with a 2 length win over 1400m at Balaklava on soft going on 29 March. Has had 2 trials in the 6 week let-up for a win and a 2nd. Could surprise.

Finished well back at his last 3 starts. Looks safely held.

10. Party Princess (13)

She has 2 wins and 3 places from 8 starts. Won at Strathalbyn then Morphettville Parks before running 2nd in a photo finish in the Listed Clare Lindop Stakes over 1600m on 1 April. From there she jumped up to Group 1 level where she finished 3.8 lengths 8th in the Australasian Oaks on 29 April where the 2000m looked too far. Capable of winning this.
