Tulloch Stakes 2023 Race Details
Race 3 at Rosehill Racecourse on Saturday the 25th of March 2023.
The Tulloch Stakes is a Group 2 race held at Rosehill Racecourse and is run over 2000 metres. It is for colts and geldings aged three years-old and is run under set weight conditions. The total prize money is $250,000 this year.

Tulloch Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
A wide open field engages here with Full Of Sincerity coming across from NZ and bringing some strong form to the table. Stroke Of Luck has been around the mark and will get the gun run from barrier 1 while Major Beel is as honest as the day is long and will give a strong sight from the wide draw. Awesome John didn’t have much luck last start and Tavi Time rounds out the chances having been narrowly denied last start over in QLD.
Tulloch Stakes 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Full Of Sincerity (10)
Brings in some nice NZ form and finds a race lacking winning form. Like the 2nd behind Sharp’N’Smart. That goes close here. Hard to beat and goes on top.
2. Ausbred Rising Sun (3)
Needs to lift off the past 2 runs.
3. Major Beel (9)
Suited to this field. Clark knows the horse well and any give in the ground is a bonus. Has been well tried in early markets and should be hard to hold out.
4. Stroke Of Luck (1)
Racing very well. Hit the line hard 2 starts back behind Major Beel and last run was excellent behind Almania. That is good form for this.
5. Iknowastar (4)
Should go forward and give a bold sight. Knows how to win and hard to knock winning form. Much, much harder here but wouldn’t shock at all.
6. Tavi Time (6)
Somehow lost the photo finish last start when looking home for all money. Harder here and not sure that is the right form for this. Progressive and has upside but prefer others.
7. Awesome John (5)
Unlucky last start but hit the line hard. Suited with the map and draw but has been on a wild drift since markets opened.
8. Ain’t He Grand (2)
Ticking along okay and should be suited by the rise in trip. Loathe to leave out any stayers from this stable. Good enough to win and the booking of Avdulla is eye catching.
9. Coppleson (7)
Needs to lift.
10. Tapildoodledo (11)
Going along okay without winning. Prefer others.
11. Meet Me In Bondi (8)
Can’t have.
