Competitive affair with a wide open market. Statement maps well and should get a kind run from the barrier with John Allen doing the steering. Expect a bold run from Roots who has been around the mark this prep. Mirra Vision is set to peak and should give a good sight in this field while Torgene and Atishu both have claims and find their right race.

1. Going Global (18)

Flies fresh but needs a tonne of luck from barrier 18. Happy to dismiss it from there.

2. Mustang Valley (15)

Should give a good account in this race, especially if the rain comes. Barrier 15 will not be easy but like able form lines and this race is within reach.

3. Promise Of Success (1)

Quality galloper that is up to these but barrier 1 looks tricky for its running style. Can win but will need some luck.

4. Atishu (10)

Rosehill record is 0/4 and 1500 record is 0/5. This race is within reach but those stats are concerning.

5. Argentia (14)

Solid last start run and boasts a very good record with Zahra aboard. In the mix.

6. Statement (2)

Quality import that has been well tried in early markets and gets a kind draw. Lobs into a beautiful spot from there and trials have been excellent. Goes on top.

7. Mirra Vision (11)

Solid last start without much luck. Tricky map and will need luck in a cluttered race but going well enough to win this.

8. Larkspir Run (7)

Likeable form and enjoys cut in the ground. Can take this out if it gets a tow into the race at the right time.

9. Bring The Ransom (13)

Can’t have.

10. Roots (8)

Good claims in this field and just needs the gaps to go close. Has a sharp turn of hoof and can give this race a shake.

11. Cliff’s Art (5)

Can’t have.

12. More Prophets (17)

Can win but needs plenty to go right for it.

13. Torgene (4)

Excellent fresh and gets a likeable map. Forget last run, big improver here from the kind draw.

14. Finepoint (6)

In nicely at the weights and has a good second up record. Hard to beat here.

15. Dynasties (3)

Can’t have.

16. More Secrets (9)

Has quality form and is a shade over the odds with the in form jockey doing the steering. Solid place chance.

17e. Riduna (12)

This looks too tough.

19e. Times Square (19)

Can’t have from there.
