The stayers do battle over the 2400. Montefilia may have bumped into a very smart one last time and looks well placed in this field. Gold Trip will be running on hard and looks set to peak. Knights Order should be right up on the speed giving a sight and Cleveland the UK import looks nicely placed in this company to run a bold race fresh.

1. Gold Trip (13)

Should relish the cut out of the ground and likely to be ridden cold and saved for one last crack at them. Ready to win and hard to beat.

2. Knights Order (6)

Expected more from Knights Order this prep. Keep an eye on the market for any moves but it needs to lift.

3. Vow And Declare (15)

Brings in some good form and like the booking of Nash to steer from the wide draw. This race is within reach for Vow and Declare who looks set to peak.

4. Stockman (7)

Wants the arrive to arrive in the bucket loads. Stockman’s claims improve the wetter the track gets.

5. Arapaho (3)

Excellent win last start and will relish the sting out of the ground. Maps Kindly and just needs to show a similar effort like last start to be going close in this. Strong chance.

6. Explosive Jack (14)

Should enjoy the rise in trip and will just need luck from the draw to figure. Allen sticks for the ride and it has good claims in this field. Best roughie.

7. Selino (5)

Can’t have.

8. Sir Lucan (10)

Racing well and did have weight to jump last start but had its chance and this race looks harder. Capable but looks the right price and is a place chance here.

9. Cleveland (11)

Has the form on the board overseas and the proved a winning recipe last week in a similar race. Mcevoy rode midweek and was happy with the work and the stable like its chances. Hard to beat.

10. King Frankel (8)

Continues to race well but seemed to have its chance last start. A lot harder here and isn’t in well at the weights. Leaning to others.

11. Saracen Knight (1)

Can’t have.

12. Alegron (12)

Needs to improve off the first up effort.

13. Beneaud (4)  – SCRATCHED

14. Montefilia (9)

Excellent last start behind what could be a very smart galloper in Dubai Harbour. That does look the right form for this race but also weary about the imports in this. Hard to beat and good to see Gibbons sticks on the steer.
