There are 10 fillies for the Sportsbet Dequetteville Stakes. Three of the runners had their last start in a 2YO BM 68 Handicap over 1050m at Morphetville on 23rd March (won by All Woke), three are having their first start, and the other four came via different races.

The early favourite is Karavas who has won both her starts and resumes from a 21 week spell. Second favourite is Lincolnshire who is a first-starter from the Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman stable. Third favourite is All Woke who won her only start 2 weeks ago. Bending Away and Madame Maserati are both having their first start. All other runners are currently $15 or longer.

1. Karavas (8)

This filly from the R & C Jolly stable has won both her starts and resumes from a 21 week spell. She won on debut over 900m at Murray Bridge then went to Melbourne where she was a length winner of the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes over 1000m at Flemington on 9th November before spelling. Strong winning chance.

2. All Woke (2)

Nicely-bred filly from the Phillip Stokes stable. She won her only start 2 weeks ago over 1050m at Morphettville, beating 2 of the other runners in this field. Expect her to run well..

3. Climate Change (7)

Resumes after 15 weeks and has won 1 of her 2 starts. She won a Geelong maiden on 7th December then went to Sydney where she finished 5th of 5 over 1100m at Randwick. In the mix.

4. Arianna (10)

Has had one race start. She showed good early pace when 3rd over 1050m at Morphettville on 10th February and also did plenty wrong. Don’t dismiss.

5. Miss Mahjong (6)

Finished 3rd over 1000m in a 2YO maiden at Ballarat at her only start. Having her first try at metro level. Prefer to watch.

6. Bending Away (4)

First starter. Fitter for an Oakbank trial.

7. Lincolnshire (1)

A first-starter from the Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman stable. Drawn to do no work.

8. Madame Maserati (9)

First starter. Keep an eye on the betting.

9. In Love (3)

Has had 2 starts. Debuted for 10th in the Listed Cinderella Stakes over 1050m then was 0.3 length 3rd behind All Woke over 1050m at Morphettville on 23rd March. Place chance.

10. So Grand (5)

Debuted for 14h in the Cinderella stakes then was 0.4 length 4th behind All Woke last start. This is much harder.
