Adrian Knox Stakes 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Autumn Angel has the right form on the board to be in the mix here. Comes up with a tricky draw but does look nicely placed. Good Banter will need luck from barrier 14 but shouldn’t be far away. Waikato Girl will get a good time of things from barrier 4 while Private Legacy has been a big improver lately and has place claims against this lot.
Adrian Knox Stakes 2024 Runner by Runner

Has been subject to a stack of support since markets opened. Well placed here in this field and should get a lovely run from barrier 7. Zahra rides and this race is a suitable target.
2. Harlow Mist (21)
Can’t have.
3. Waikato Girl (4)
Has good claims to give this race a shake. Maps well from barrier 4 and gets the services of Berry doing the steering. Hovering around the right odds at the moment.
4. Noble Tess (5)
Can’t have.
5. Heaven Bound (6)
Prefer others.
6. Concello (15)
Good last start win but won’t find this easy from barrier 15. Comes into this with good claims but does need to handle the rise in grade leaping up from a BM64.
7. Private Legacy (18)
Has improved out of sight but has been handed a task here from barrier 18. Goes in the mix but won’t be easy from out there.
8. Kind Words (3)
Prefer others.
9. Last Straw (11)
Can’t have.
10. Global Pivot (13)
On speed but got over run late. Tim Clark looks the right booking and should be hard to beat with any on pace bias.
11. Ahuriri (22)
The barrier won’t make things easy but comes off a solid second placing. Scratchings the key to its chances.
12. Good Banter (14)
Going a long okay and was sound last start in the Kembla Classic ( url won’t work ). Has claims with the light weight and Kah steering.
