PJ Bell Stakes 2024 Race Details
Race 10 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 6th of April 2024.
The PJ Bell Stakes is a Group 3 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1200 metres. It is for fillies aged three-years-old and is run under set weights and penalties conditions. The total prize money is $250,000 this year.

PJ Bell Stakes 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Learning To Fly maps for a lovely run from barrier 5. Goes in the mix against these and has the credentials to prove hard to beat. Miraval Rose will need luck from the draw but can go close. Commemorative comes off the back of a strong first up win and looks well placed while Facile has the quality to be in the finish and maps for a kind run.

1. Learning To Fly (5)
Comes off a fourth in the Surround Stakes and looks a good hope here. Maps well from barrier 5, has the class edge on this field and looks a huge hope against these.
2. Kristilli (9)
No luck in the Surround Stakes and again will need some luck from the barrier. Has had good wraps from day one and can give this a shake.
3. Lazzago (14)
Does like racing here but the wet track is a query. Leaning to others.
4. Platinum Jubilee (11)
Has a win on the heavy and goes in the mix off that factor. May be okay to be coming from out wide at this time of the day.
5. Infancy (18)
Can’t have.
6. Miraval Rose (10)
The stable won this race last year and are looking to do it again. Miraval Rose resumes off the back of a few very good runs last prep. Jump outs have been solid and she should be hard to beat here.
7. West On Dalby (7)
Can’t have.
8. Blanc De Blanc (16)
Prefer others.
9. Facile (4)
Goes in the mix. Maps well from barrier 4 and knows how to fight right to the line as seen in past runs the tenacity to kick back when looking gone. Can win.
10. Ballroom Bella (20)
Can’t have.
11. French Endeavour (1)
Barrier 1 might make things tricky. Has the turn of foot but will need luck getting off the rail.
12. Commemorative (8)
Good win last start in a BM72. Much harder here but has always shown talent to date. This race suits.
13. Cigar Flick (2)
Can’t have.

Prefer others.
