Track: Good Weather: Fine

Very open field engaged. Ducasse should get a nice run from barrier 2 and is good enough to be winning a race of this depth. Witz End has claims with J-Mac steering and is putting together a consistent record. Les Vampires has been mixing form this prep but drops slightly in grade while Kintyre will need plenty of luck from the draw but has the ability if putting it all together.

Has an okay record here but has to be a query on the heavy. Maps tricky but Lane steering helps its chances.

2. Witz End (3)

Comes across from NZ and gets J-Mac to do the steering. Should get favours from barrier 3 and looks a major player in this field.

3. Ducasse (2)

Maps okay from barrier 2 and has claims in this field with a solid placing on heavy ground. Shinn riding is ideal to its chances.

4. Les Vampires (4)

Can land up on speed and prove tough to get past. Has okay form in the soft and chances enhanced with any on pace bias.

5. Tanhauser (16)

Can’t have.

6. Kintyre (17)

Poor record on the track and in these conditions. Will need luck from barrier 17. Leaning to others.

7. Heman (1)

Can’t have.

8. Zondee (20)

Prefer others.

9. Port Lockroy (21)

No luck last start when caught wide and put in a mammoth effort. Looks to have a task from out here but still a major player if able to find the front without doing too much work.

10. Machale (7)

Racing well off the back of 2 good wins. Jumps up from BM78 grade but has good upside and looks a top 4 chance here.

11. Gold Buillon (22)

Can’t have.

12. Groundrush (23)

Good win last start. Maps sticky from the draw and will need some luck from out there but a lot to like from the last start win.

13. Long Genes (8)

Can’t have.

14. The Years (12)

Leaning to others.

15. Pasima (14)

This looks too tough.

16. Agita (5)

Can’t have.

Prefer others.

Has been racing okay but comes up with a tricky draw. This race looks a bit too tough.
