Four of them had their last start in the Listed Supremacy Stakes over 1000m at Ascot on 23rd March (won by Sir Dreamalot) and three in a 2YO Open Set Weights With Penalties race over 1100m at Ascot on 16th March (won by Siren Assault), while five are having their first race start. The early favourite is Bustling who was a 2.3 length winner on debut then ran 2nd last start. Second favourite is Supremacy Stakes winner Sir Dreamalot who has won 2 of his 4 starts. Third favourite is Shmoov Moova who is unraced but has won 2 trials. Gold Maker has had 2 starts for a place. Beyond The Wall  is a first-starter, while Sniper’s Son has a place from 2 starts. The other runners are currently $20 or longer.

1. Sir Dreamalot (4)

He has won 2 of his 4 starts. Was a 4.5 length winner over 1000m at Bunbury on 9th March then a 0.4 length  winner of the Listed Supremacy Stakes over 1000m at Ascot on 23rd March. One of the main hopes.

2. Angels Impact (6)

Finished 3.8 lengths 8th behind Sir Dreamalot in the Supremacy Stakes last start where he lacked his usual strong finish. Had won or placed at all other starts. Not the worst.

3. Bustling (8)

He was a 2.3 length winner over 1200m at Ascot on debut then ran 2nd last start  in a 2YO Open Set Weights With Penalties race over 1100m at Ascot on 16th March (won by Siren Assault). A key player.

4. Gold Maker (12)

Debuted for 2nd over 1000m at Ascot on 3rd February then had a 7 week let-up before 7th in the Supremacy Stakes with good closing splits. Chance.

5. Sniper’s Son (9)

This Snippetson colt had his first start back in November where he ran 3rd over 1100m at Ascot. He resumed for 8th behind Siren Assault on 16th March. Prefer others.

6. Rise To Glory (11)

Has had 3 starts for 4th, 6th and 5th. Seems unlikely.

7. Ripper Farooq (3)

One of 3 runners for Luke Fernie. Made his debut in the Supremacy Stakes where he was travelling well before fading in the final 150m to finish 6th. Place chance.

8. Beyond The Wall (7)

First-starter that won a Belmont trial. Keep an eye on the betting.

9. Prince Epaulette (1)

Having his first starts but has won both trials.Perfectly drawn and worth putting in the exotics.

10. Scenic Boom (2)

Hasn’t raced but has had 3 trials and won one of them.

11. Shmoov Moova (5)

Unraced but has won 2 trials very well. Looks a real chance.

12. Swindle The Dough (10)

Another first-starter who ran a close 2nd at his only trial.
