Supremacy Stakes Race History
The race was first held over 1000m as a Principal race called the WATC Supremacy Quality Stakes in 1978 and was won by Elegant Shell. In 1979 it was upgraded to a Listed race. In 1999 the distance was increased to 1100m. In 2017 the distance was reduced from 1100m to 1000m.
