Chairman’s Quality 2024 Race Details
Race 2 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 6th of April 2024.
The Chairman’s Quality is a Group 2 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 2600 metres. It is for horses aged three-years-old and older and is run under quality handicap conditions. The total prize money is $300,000 this year.

Chairman’s Quality 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Circle Of Fire has Gibbons steering and will just need luck from the bad draw to be going close. Verona should have its chance from barrier 4 and will be set to peak. Manzoice bounced back to form last start and looks ready to win. Stockman will love the fact that plenty of rain is set to fall.
Chairman’s Quality 2024 Runner by Runner
1. Loft (14)
Can’t have.
2. Stockman (6)
Hasn’t done much lately but should relish the rain and looks a real improver with the expected conditions. The map is ideal from barrier 6 and this race suits.
3. Manzoice (8)
Bounced back to form last start and looks well placed. Should get a nice run from the draw but the query is the very heavy predicted weather.
4. Hopeful (9)
Has solid form in heavy ground so goes in the mix off that basis. Barrier 9 is a bit tricky but finds the right race here.
5. Torrens (13)
Likes this track but yet to do much on heavy ground. Leaning to others.
6. Zegalo (3)
Can’t have.
7. Regal Lion (1)
Poor record on heavy decks but lots of that in harder races and handles the soft okay. Doesn’t win out of turn but not hopeless here.
8. Verona (4)
Proven on heavy, maps well, gets a very in form Kah to steer and has good claims in this field. Might need one more run historically speaking but does find the right field and looks the right price.
9. So Dazzling (12)
Can improve at odds. Should relish the conditions and like seeing it on this deck. Stuck on the one career win but does have more ability than that.
10. Yankee Hussel (11)
Racing okay but the wet ground is a concern. Leaning to others.
11. Circle Of Fire (10)
A few good efforts so far this prep including making good ground off a very handy runner in Wymark. Gibbons hops aboard and there is plenty to like about its chances provided it handles the conditions.
12. Double Cherry (5)
Can’t have.
13. Funambulist (2)
Solid light weight chance and does love the heavy ground. Maps well and this race is within reach.
14. Marsabit (7)
Can’t have.
