Track: Good Weather: Good

A race for the thrill seekers with 13 hopes below $20 and the chances don’t end there. Leading the market is She Dances who continues to win and is building up a nice record. Dusse is over the odds after a luckless run last start and can atone in this. Goes on top at the nice price and maps perfectly from the draw. Laced Up Heels comes across from WA and certainly brings in some strong form lines.  Queen Of The Ball also goes in the mix and has the right running pattern to be going close.

1. She’s Licketysplit (9)

Runs well fresh, should land on the speed and give a good sight over this trip. Damian Lane has  good record aboard and this race is within reach fresh.

2. Queen Of The Ball (12)

Might struggle to get control here with plenty of speed in this race and might have to burn fuel from the draw. A few queries there but does have the class and ability to take this out. Top 4 chance.

3. Wolverine (14)  – SCRATCHED

4. Aitch Two Oh (3)

Solid chance at odds. Liked a recent jumpout and drawn to land on the bunny or track the speed. Worth respecting in this field.

5. Wee Nessy (11)

The map looks tricky for Wee Nessy here but it does have nice upside. Ben Melham goes aboard for the first time but it will need some luck in running. Good enough to win this.

6. Laced Up Heels (6)

Huge danger to the on top selection. Boasts the scalp of Amelia’s Jewel, one of the best sprinters in WA and potentially in the country. Maps sweetly here and will be ready to go fresh. Massive chance at very handy odds.

7. Cythera (5)

Resumes after two solid efforts last prep. Maps well and Mark Zahra steers. Keep an eye on the market.

8. Ojai (7)

Mixed form last prep without a win. Would like to see first up here but does have ability.

9. She Dances (15)

Hard to pot and is building a picket fence. The two knocks are the very wide draw and this race has a lot more depth than last start.

10. Clarity (4)

Unlucky last run. Maps well and can sit off a hot speed. Certainly in the mix and would be far shorter odds had it got the rub of the green last start.

11. Ghaanati (1)

Keep an eye on the market. Mixed form last prep but good enough to take this out fresh.

12. Rich Fortune (13)

Blistering first up win and decent jump out since. Barrier 13 could pose some problems but ran some excellent splits and can measure up to this lot.

13. Dusse (2)

Clearly on top. Was trucking with nowhere to go behind Jigsaw in open company and Jigsaw has won again since. That form looks good for this and it was very strong through the line. Wide open race but with clean air and a good run in transit, looks the winner.

14, Prairie Flower (8)

Can’t have.

15. La Danseuse Rouge (16)

Looks too tricky from out there. Prefer others.

16. Jenny Jerome (17)

Suited over further. Like others in this.

17e. Waverider Buoy (10)

Can’t have.
