A good tussle over the 1600 with Corner Pocket leading the market. Should find the rail and give a good kick. Its form around stacks up and it will be hard to beat here. Sunshine Rising has been excellent in 2 runs to date in AUS and should get every chance from barrier 4 with Blake Shinn in the saddle. Pounding keeps winning and finds the perfect race to keep the winning streak going. Crosshaven is hard to catch but its best efforts would give this a shake.

Should improve over further.

Hard to catch but has the ability thats for sure. Keep an eye on market moves, tends to go close when well backed.

Corner Pocket has an impressive record to date. It should get a beautiful run in transit and its form stacks up. This looks a suitable race and it deserves to be favourite.

6. Sunshine Rising (4)

Sunshine Rising was excellent in 2 starts to date in Australia and should give this a mighty shake. It has an excellent turn of foot, should position well from the draw and the very in form Blake Shinn does the steering.

7. So Si Bon (12)

Extremely hard to catch but did beat Detonator Jack last start and that form didn’t hold up the other day. Barrier 12 is going to pose some problems.

8. Explosive Jack (6)

Will improve over further. Best backing later on in the prep.

9. Young Werther (9)

Should improve with a run under the belt and over further.

10. Mankayan (3)

Mankayan can run well fresh in this and loves racing at this track. The distance suits fresh and the market should have a say in how ready it will be fresh. This race is within reach.

11. Subconscious (5)

Can’t have.

12. Pounding (15)

Pounding will need things to go right from barrier 15 but hard to knock winning form. Jamie Kah does the steering and this race is suitable to keep the winning streak alive. The $7.00 is a decent price and it should prove hard to beat.

13. Keats (7)

Keats mixes form but its best efforts can give this a shake. Keep an eye on the market.

14. Normandy Bridge (13)

Can’t have.

15. Deny Knowledge (11)

Won well last start and can go on with things here. The wide draw is the knock but this race is within reach. Josh Richards knows the horse well with 2 wins from 4 goes and the price looks right.
