Learning To Fly leads the market and was mighty impressive last start but will need a stack of luck from the car park draw. Blanc De Blanc also draws wide but put in a great run last start and J-Mac does the riding. Kundalini went close to Don Corleone on debut and we get a test of that form in Randwick race 1 earlier in the day. Lazzago has trialled up super while Facile goes in the mix. Plenty of speed expected in this.

1. Arkansaw Kid (18)

Won well on debut and has trialled nicely since. Where to from barrier 18 is a huge query, it’ll need some luck in running.

2. Mexico (13)

Solid behind Barber last start who we get a gauge on the form with earlier on in the day. Given absolutely no favours from the draw but should be hitting the line hard and plenty of tempo will ensure a truly run race.

3. Coincide (14)

Okay last start but this does look harder. Possible place chance in a very open field.

4. Hellish (12)

Sound return but strikes more depth here. Place chance at best.

5. Celui (3)

Can’t have.

6. The Player (15)

Prefer in easier.

7. Saltaire (17)

Out of form jockey and wide draw. Prefer others.

8. Learning To Fly (19)

It’ll need to be a very smart win from Learning To Fly to be winning from the wide draw. Not impossible but it certainly dims its chances. Chad Schofield will need to provide a peach but from the debut effort it certainly has the class to give this a shake.

9. Facile (1)

Nosed out on debut and that form looks okay for this. An in form Avdulla steers from barrier 1 and should get every chance from there.

10. Lazzago (9)

Have Lazzago on top. Loved the debut win and looked very good in a recent trial. Pike can camp midfield and steam to the line late. Seems very progressive but this is an extremely open race. The $9.00 seems a good bet.

11. Blanc De Blanc (16)

Loved the trial and J-Mac steers. Barrier 16 may pose some problems but he is capable of overcoming that and this Filly by I Am Invincible is well and truly good enough to take this out.

12. Divine Glory (11)

Prefer others.

13. Perfect Proposal (2)

Needs to lift off last run.

14. Kundalini (5)

Loved the debut effort and we get a gauge on the form with Don Corleone running in race 1 at Randwick. That form should hold up in this and a very in form Jason Collett does the steering.

15. Dorothy Gail (6)

Interesting import who was solid fresh and can run boldly here. That being said, out of form jockey aboard and therefore I prefer others.

16. Imminance (7)

Prefer others.

17e. Ganbare (20)

This looks too tricky.

18e. Chasing A Quid (10)

Needs an easier race.

19e. Chevron (8)

This looks too tough.

20e. Chop The Ice (4)

Can’t have.
