Tea Rose Stakes 2023 Race Details
Race 6 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 16th of September 2023.
The Tea Rose Stakes is a Group 2 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1400 metres. It is run under set weight conditions and is for fillies aged three-years-old. The total prize money is $300,000 this year.

Tea Rose Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
A lot if these runners meet again. Tiz Invincible was a strong winner of the Group 2 Furious Stakes over 1200m last start and looks poised to make it another on the bounce. Kimochi was also very good last run and doesn’t need to improve much to be taking this out. Tropical Squall led on a day that suited those on speed but found a nice kick late and can measure up to this lot while Autumn Ballet looks the improver of the field and one that is at odds.

1. Tiz Invincible (2)
Maps well from the barrier and has hit its straps this prep. Good map and hard to beat.
2. Autumn Ballet (10) – SCRATCHED
3. Kimochi (5)
Racing well. Gets a good draw and likeable map. Should give this race a shake and has bold claims in this suitable target.
4. Miss Joelene (11)
Can’t have.
5. Platinum Jubilee (15)
Racing well. Tough to win from out the there but has claims and should be able to lead them up. Can go close.
6. Zardozi (1)
Had excuses last run. Well placed here from barrier 1 and should be hard to beat. I had it marked half the price it currently is.
7. August Bloom (7)
Won for us as best of the day a few weeks back. A lot harder here but on the upward spiral and can give a sight here.
8. Tropical Squall (12)
Had pattern on side last start and with that in mind does look to have come up short in the market. That being said does have good upside and isn’t hopeless in this.
9. Captain Amelia (16)
Can’t have.
10. French Endeavour (14)
Didn’t beat much last start but on the way up and can give this race a shake.
11. Tutta La Vita (13)
Just fair last run. Can bounce back in this field but will need things to go right from the draw.
12. Unique Ambition (9)
Solid last start run. Tricky draw but this is within reach.
13. Mumbai Muse (4)
Harder here and seemed to have every chance last run. Place hope at best.
14. Summer Loving (8)
Due for some luck and is one of the better maidens in AUS. Right up to these with a tow into the race at the right time.
15. Private Legacy (3)
Prefer others.
16. Nantucket Island (6)
Can’t have.
