Track: Good Weather: Fine

Manzoice was close last run and should be hard to beat this time around. Ashrun was a dominant winner prior to a solid third last start. Circle Of Fire is on the quick back up and won nicely last start. Goes in the mix. Amade was one of the biggest runs I have ever witnessed when the saddle fell off and it still kicked to just miss third. Huge chance if repeating.

1. Military Mission (17)

Has been around the mark this prep and can roll forward from the wide draw. Place chance against this field.

2. Mahrajaan (16)

NZ raider who is a market watch here. Can show up on AUS debut and any move for it should be respected.

3. Ashrun (12)

Has been excellent this prep and hasn’t been far off them in the 2 losses. Williams rides from barrier 12 and the stable are outstanding with their stayers.

4. Loft (7)

Can’t have.

5. Stockman (8)

Had the rain last start and still couldn’t get near them. Not in this.

6. Selino (9)

Can’t have.

7. Kalapour (6)

Good win last start in the Tancred Stakes at big odds. May be able to go right on with things here from the good draw and Gibbo sticks.

8. Serpentine (4)

Has won two in a row and looks a good chance to notch up the hat trick from barrier 3. Clark sticks and the stable are on fire this season.

9. Amade (5)

Simply enormous last run when the saddle fell off. Should have bolted in and looks a huge chance here however concede he does mix his form. If he can keep his mind on the job the $14.00 is a big price. Nice claims from barrier 5.

10. Athabascan (11)

Sound efforts in both starts this prep but will need luck from the barrier. Goes in the mix.

11. Manzoice (1)

Not sure barrier 1 suits its running pattern but put in a solid second placing last start. That is good enough for this.

12. Circle Of Fire (15)

Won nicely last start and was good through the line so should enjoy the rise in trip. Jumps up 600m but off the back of last start that looks ideal and this race is well within reach.

13. Glentaneous (2)

Ticking along okay but needs to find a few lengths to threaten. Leaning to others.

14. Major Beel (3)

Prefer others.

15. Mostly Cloudy (14)

Has been around the mark this prep without much luck. Can be an improver at odds.

16. Torrens (13)

Prefer others.

17. So Dazzling (10)

This looks too tough.
