Track: Good Weather: Fine

Open field. Razors will need luck from the draw but has been showing good ability and goes in the mix here. The best version of Amur would give this a shake but will need a bit to go right from out there. Heman should be around the mark and has the ability and upside to take this out. Panic has been flying through the grades and can handle this leap in depth. Gap to the rest.

1. Butch Cassidy (9)

Needs to lift on form but this is a slight drop in grade. Best efforts would give this a shake.

2. Amur (19)

Can’t have.

3. Kaizad (1)

Has the right running pattern to give this a shake. Can land up on speed from barrier 1, Tim Clark steering suits and very hard to knock how the stable are going.

4. Robrick (14)

Will need luck from the barrier but has claims on form. Has been racing well and been around the mark all prep. This race suits.

5. Razors (12)

Has good form for this and Kah steers. This race lacks depth and the price looks good. Hard to beat and deserving of being market.

6. Heman (10)

Can’t have.

7. Port Lockroy (17)

Had good support and ran a bold second. Barrier 17 will make things tough but can win with luck.

8. Rhythm Of Love (8)

Prefer others.

9. Panic (4)

Won well first up and should have every chance from the draw. Berry steers and while this is much harder it has plenty of upside and this looks suitable.

10. Sunshineinmypocket (15)  – scratched

11. Midnight Opal (7)

Has been just sound so far this prep but was excellent last prep and can bounce back to form here. Barrier 7 will afford a good run and Gibbons steers.

12. Lively (2)

Maps well from barrier 2 and should give this a shake. Harder here but has the form to be going close.

13. Kandinsky Abstract (11)

Won well fresh and may have come back improved. Has form around some likely types but form tapered off at the end of last prep. Goes in the mix.

14. Kirikan (16)

Prefer others.

15. Waverley (3)

Can’t have.

16. Kadavar (6)

Prefer others.
