Inglis Sires 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
All eyes on Cylinder who was beaten by a handy one last start. Well placed in this company and will take some beating. Veight has a tonne of upside and will be hard to hold out while Don Corleone has a sharp turn of hoof and will be hard to beat. Brave Mead is a quality galloper who has found its right race and Empire Of Japan rounds out the chances in an open race. Cylinder goes on top.
Inglis Sires 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Cylinder (4)
Had its chance but bumped into a handy one last start. Maps to perfection with J-Mac sticking and will take all sorts of beating.
2. Don Corleone (2)
Smart galloper that can give this a shake if within firing range.
3. Empire Of Japan (11)
showed promise early doors but has been hard to catch since. Needs luck from the draw and needs to find best form.
4. Veight (13)
Ultra impressive to date. Much harder here but very hard to knock winning form and Lane sticks thick.
5. Maharba (10)
Had its chance last start but that was a strong race and the form around Shinzo reads well. Truly over the odds in this dispute the bad barrier.
6. Brave Mead (6)
Stacks of upside and maps nicely in this. Ticking along well for the strong camp and should give this a shake.
7. Disneck (5)
Can’t have.
8. Cafe Millenium (8)
Has a hard to catch running pattern. Expected more last start and will need luck in this.
9. Bases Loaded (7)
Should plonk on the speed and run well. Lacks the form of some of these but still a hope.
10. Militarize (1)
Can’t have.
11. Butch Cassidy (3)
Looked a good thing on paper last start and won well. Much harder here but a good roughie with nice upside.
12. Bold And Blazen (12)
Can’t have.
13. Pier Pressure (9)
Wouldn’t shock me at the $151. Expected a bit more last start but love it out in trip. Keep safe.
