Sequestered leads the market and has strong claims from the Godolphin camp. J-Mac steers and it maps for a dream run. Eau De Vie leaps up a few grades here but was strong last start when leading and kicking. Premise was heavily backed and bolted in while Hoops brings in some Victorian form and should be around the mark with John Allen in the saddle.

1. Hoops (7)

Brings in some VIC form which should hold up here. Slightly sticky draw and the stable have been hit and miss the past year but John Allen does the steering and this race is well within reach.

2. Premise (12)

Backed as if unbeatable last start and showed off a neat turn of foot to win nicely. Well placed in this to go on with things here. Hard to beat.

3. Sequestered (2)

Ticks all the boxes and looks tough to topple. Has won its past 2 straight and the form out of the race has been good. J-Mac and kind draw. All points to it winning this.

4. Eau De Vie (6)

Found a strong kick in the midweeks and fended them off. Can land on speed and give a bold sight in this. Danger to the favourite and deserves to be well in the market.

5. Madalsa (11)

Nice debut win but leaps up a few grades here. Respect any market moves.

6. Silvakia (1)

Going along okay without winning. Leaning to others.

7. Candy Love (8)

Good debut win. Dual nommed and might not run here but a solid hope if it does with Tim Clark doing the steering to overcome the wide barrier.

8. Premierro (10)

Broke maiden last start but jumps a few grades. Leaning to others.

9. Arts (9)

Poor last start and will need to bounce back to figure. Respect any market moves.

10. Whisker To Whisker (5)

Should enjoy this trip after a fair run last start. Ryan does the steering and John Thompson is a very good trainer of stayers.

11. Mountain Guest (4)

Just sound last start but does come out of some strong form races. Lane steers from barrier 4 and not the worst hope in this field.

12. Fay’s Angels (3)

Prefer others.
