Gold Coast Bracelet Race Details

Race 6 at Gold Coast Racecourse on Saturday 7th May 2022.

The 2022 Gold Coast Bracelet is held at the Gold Coast Racecourse and is run over 1800 metres. It is a Listed race for the three year old fillies and is run under set weight conditions. The total prize money is $150,000.

2022 Gold Coast Bracelet Race Preview

Track: Soft Weather: Fine

A race over the 1800 where a few chances have previously met recently. Market is headed by Gypsy Goddess from the Vandyke stable. Honeycreeper represent Godolphin and Gin Martini has been racing in excellent fashion and comes up double figure odds. There should be a good tempo in this, pending scratchings.

1. Gypsy Goddess (13)

Deserves to be favourite and comes out of some very strong races. Barrier 13 is the only query but Pike sticks again and it is the clear one to beat.

2. Mokulua (12)

Beats these on best form but was very disappointing last run and this is no easier. Some hope but need to see a market push and really needs a win.

3. Honeycreeper (14)

Needs luck from the draw but Oppie Bosson is a quality jockey and Honeycreeper is a quality horse. Can give this a shake and looks a threat to the favourite.

4. Gin Martini (11)

Going very well and is drawn out wide like its rivals. Great chance at odds and does look a generous price.

5. Canadian Dancer (7)

Keeps winning and did it in style last start. A lot harder here but very hard to knock the way it is going.

6. Stalking (6)

Finally got the win out of the way last start. Capable at best and does have good form lines but this does look a tough ask.

7. Secret Tales (1)

Continues to win and gets all the favours with the draw. Solid chance at odds and can give this race a red hot shake.

8. Dynasties (9)

Has the right form for this and looks a major player coming off a placing behind Espiona who has plenty of talent. Major chance at good odds.

9. Da Party Gal (15)

Keeps winning and Gollan places them very well. Big respect and monitor the market.

10. Taizai (8)

On speed bias will help. This isn’t an easy assignment but is racing well. Not hopeless at odds.

11. Smirk (5)

Wants the rain to arrive. Some hope from the good draw.

12. Our Belle Fille (3)

Can’t have.

13. Prickly Poppy (4)

This looks too tough.

14. Mum’s The Boss (2)

Can’t have.

15. Explosive Miss (10)

Keeps winning and strikes a winnable race. Can bob up at odds, respect any market moves.
