2022 Silk Stocking Preview
Track: Soft Weather: Fine
Even race over the 1400 with Yamakazi leading the market and coming off some impressive trials. Dzsenifer is never far away and loves racing at this track. Cafe Royal brings in the NSW form and will be setting the speed while April Rain will be looking to get that ever elusive win on the board after a string of runs missing the frame.

1. Yamakazi (6)
Good hope in this race. Maps well, trials have been electric and deserves to be a clear cut favourite. Very likeable at the current price and should prove hard to beat in this field.
2. Bonham (4)
Always respecting Gollan’s placement in races and Bonham can be a big improver here seeing a drop in grade. Respecting any market moves.
3. Dzsenifer (5)
Likes racing at this track and goes in the mix against this bunch. Likeable map and can win this at okay odds.
4. Cafe Royal (11)
Lands on the speed and brings in some strong NSW form. Major player against this lot and strong jockey booked. Great chance and looks hard to beat.
5. Starla (10)
No wins from 7 goes over the trip and needs some luck from the draw. Hard to have on current form.
6. April Rain (12)
Has been disappointing of late and on best form can win but looks under the odds. Having J-Mac aboard is a massive help but has burnt punters a lot recently. Hard to have at the current odds and I expect it to drift.
7. Adelase (1)
Not a noted fresh performer with 1 placing from 5 first up runs. Prefer to see.
8. Enterprise Keren (14)
Needs another win and gets no favours from barrier 14. Not hopeless at odds but this is a hard race for it.
9. Siesta Key (9)
No wins at the track from 7 attempts and poor last start. Needs to lift to be winning.
10. Stolen Jade (2)
Massive chance a year ago but has been a little disappointing of late. Well backed last start and does no work from the draw. Respecting any market moves. Can win on best form.
11. Zac Attack (13)
Can’t have.
12. Winter Rain (8)
Looks a bit too tough.
13. Giulia (3)
Keeps winning and should give backers a sight from the good draw. Prefer others but is a solid chance here.
14. Dancing Dollar (7)
Long odds and can’t have.
