Track: Soft  Weather: Fine

An even contest with 2 chances heading the market including the very talented Orbisyn from the Vandyke stable and Shooting For Gold who is unbeaten over the 1200. Salateen creates interest from the Gollan stable and does look well placed in quite an even field. There doesn’t look to be a stack of pace in the race so Orbisyn should be finding the front and leading these up.

1. Soxagon (16)

Talented galloper but can be tricky to catch. Does race very well fresh and with Stewart aboard. Good chance if there is enough speed up front.

2. Desert Lord (12)

In the mix and has already won at the track. I prefer the stablemate but Desert Lord has class and certainly can be in the finish in what is a winnable race.

3. Greyworm (10)

Can’t have.

4. Stampe (9)

Needs to lift off the first up run. Market watch advised.

5. Last Chance (13)

Keeps winning and demands respect off that factor. Harder again here but also hard to knock the way it is going. Good chance.

6. Shooting For Gold (3)

Needs a win and has been a little costly to punters but flies 2nd up and 3/3 over the distance. Maps kindly and looks a major player, albeit no spoils with the price.

7. Royal Hale (7)

Does always improve 2nd up so can win this at knockout odds and maps to stalk the speed.

8. Written Beauty (15)

Good hope in this race provided it runs. Has class and the right form and looks a major player.

9. Salateen (11)

Flies fresh and the jockey booking is a solid push. Needs luck from barrier 11 but can run over these if the pace is on. Looks the best chance at double figures.

10. Simply Fly (4)

Wants the rain to fall. Gets a kind map and has won at the track, does need to lift on form but not hopeless.

11. Blondeau (2)

Market watch advised. Does have class and maps well. Pike booked is no harm to its chances and can win this fresh.

12. Mass Destruction (1)

Barrier 1 for its running pattern could be problematic but if the gaps open Mass Destruction will be flying home late. In the mix.

13. Palaisipan (14)

Looks to land outside the leader and can give cheek in this race. Sound chance at odds.

15. Sir Warwick (5)

Continues to run 2nd placings and may find one better here again. Great chance for the placing in this.

16. Orbisyn (6)

Very hard to pot. Has been given time and beaten every field with ease. Trusting that it can get the job done here and has been placed to perfection thus far. Very hard to beat and maps to get control of this race. Respect.
