2022 Ascot Quality Handicap Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
A race over 1000 metres that shapes up to be a competitive one. Zoustyle heads the market and is on 9 career wins from 14 starts so it deserves plenty of respect. Written Beauty comes across from Melbourne representing the Waller stable while Shooting For Gold was a shade disappointing last prep but its best efforts just about win this.

The 9 wins from 14 career starts speaks for its self. No favours from barrier 11 but Queensland’s main trainer is represented well here with Zoustyle. Hard to beat with even luck in running and deserves to be short.
2. Emerald Kingdom (4)
The Eagle Farm track is ticked off here with Emerald Kingdom, 4 wins from 10 starts on the track and the map looks excellent here for the in form jockey James Orman. Hard to beat.
3. Greyworm (10)
Hasn’t won for quite some time but has raced in some quality fields. Not the worst but I would like to see a market push.
4. Stampe (12)
Enjoys racing at this track but no wins from 6 goes first up so a market watch is advised.
5. Esta La Roca (13)
Getting away from Moonee Valley and onto Eagle Farm for the first time is the query but if it handles the track it will be going close.
6. Written Beauty (7)
Hasn’t won for a while but has the talent and has contested in some handy group races. In the mix.
7. Kylease (14)
Tough draw but loves this track and trip, also flies fresh. Good chance at odds.
8. Shooting For Gold (5)
Dissapointing last prep but its best efforts win this. Barrier 5 is ideal and the jockey is a star. The market should play a key factor in its chances.
9. Archer’s Paradox (8)
Should lob on the speed and give a sight. Not hopeless at odds.
10. Je Suis Belle (6)
Flies on this track and trip and looks well over the odds with a suitable map. I like its chances.
11. Lyrical Girl (1)
Didn’t have any favours last run but still too good. Has come of age and is hard to beat here.
12. Simply Fly (3)
No wins from 7 starts at Eagle Farm the query but does fly over the 1000 metres.
13. Catesby (2)
Can’t have.
