The 2022 Galilee Series Final is held at the Caulfield Racecourse and is run over 2400 metres and is one of the feature races of the day. It is a listed race for the 3 years old and is run under set weights and penalty conditions. The total prize money is $150,000.

2022 Galilee Series Final Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
A race over 2400 metres that sees the favourite Mamounia coming off some very good runs and drawn to perfection for Jamie Kah. The Cunning Fox is a model of consistency and should be around the mark again while Tavabeel looks big odds despite coming off maiden grade. The speed should be genuine in the race.
2022 Galilee Series Final Runner by Runner
1. The Cunning Fox (8)
Model of consistency and should be in the finish again. Had no luck 2 runs back but atoned last start and looks well placed against these.
2. Ashy Boy (4)
Consistent but does need a win after a string of placings. Drawn for the right run but does look a shade unders.
3. Celestial Fury (12)
Any luck from the draw and Celestial Fury should be in the finish. Only on the one career win but has raced in harder than this.
4. Turn It Up Tommy (10)
Was good breaking maiden last start and has plenty of upside. No favours with the draw but is in the mix.
5. Station One (7)
Still on the one career win but should be on the speed giving a sight. Couldn’t fit it in my numbers but also would not shock.
6. Mediaro (1)
Can win but barrier 1 might not be ideal for its pattern. A little under the odds for mine but still respecting.
7. Tavabeel (5)
Has the right amount of upside to take this out. Is a genuine stayer and deserved the maiden win last start. Over the odds and excellent hope.
8. Morpurgo (6)
Probably suited on bigger tracks and does map for a nice run. Each-way chance in this field.
9. Culloden Moor (13)
Can’t have.
10. Pacadow (11)
Can’t have.
11. Sirocco Gale (9)
A shade over the odds after racing well in some difficult races but still does not find an easy assignment here to break its maiden.
12. Mamounia (3)
Deserves favouritism and still looks over the odds. The form looks right and 2400 is very ideal. Jamie kah will get the dream run from barrier 3 and it should take the power of beating here.
13. Fearentless (2)
Good upside and maps to stalk the favourite. Chance at odds.
