Nine runners have accepted for the $160,000 Group 3 Hall Mark Stakes and there have been no early scratchings. James Cummings (Godolphin) is saddling up two runners whilst every other trainer has just one entry each.

Big Parade has opened up the solid favourite after a massive run in the Galaxy where he looked the winner before being over-run late. Kementari is the next in the betting at double-figure odds and he is returning first-up after 91 days off.

Gem Song rounds out the top three in betting after a solid yet surprising win in the Star Kingdom Stakes at Newcastle.

Almost won the Galaxy. Gets an easy lead and with no speed in this race, expect a controlled race by Josh Parr. Hard to beat.

First-up after 91 days off. 5/6 first-up in the past with the unplaced run having excuses. Will be hitting the line late.

5. Trumbull (7)

Excuses last start. Drawn well enough and could be a factor late.

6. Signore Fox (2)

Can’t have it on recent form.

7. Quantico (9)

A line through last start at Flemington. Improving track suits but will likely be giving a start.

8. Count De Rupee (1)

Back from two Group 1 runs. Could run a solid race providing they sit in a forward position.

9. Fituese (6)

First-up. 3/5 first-up with excuses in the two failures. Another who is a chance if ridden positively.
