Angst Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Tough closer to the day. More Secrets has good upside and looks up to this field. Soul Choice can fire to the front and chances enhanced on any race day pattern that evolves. Ausbred Flirt has been well tried in early markets and has good upside but will need luck from the barrier. Renaissance Woman looks well placed in this field and should prove hard to beat.

Lightly raced and is a market watch fresh. Gibbo does the steering and this race suits.
2. Thalassophile (2)
Due for a change of luck and can go very close if that eventuates. This looks the right race for it. Hard to beat.

Has class on its side and is well up to this lot. Maps a little sticky from barrier 7 but should give this race a shake.
4. Renaissance Woman (6)
Looks hard to beat from the kind draw. Up to these and the price reflects that.

Can’t have.
6. Soul Choice (1)
Gets all the favours from barrier 1. A touch on the short side but still looks very hard to hold out from the suitable barrier. Strong claims in this winnable race.
7. Mirra View (4)
Maps well and having a good prep. This race is within reach.
8. Avebury (15)
Last start win was excellent. Will need things to go right from barrier 15 but is right in this on that last run.
9. Street Gossip (16)
Prefer others.
10. More Secrets (3)
Lightly raced and building a good record. Maps well from barrier 3 and does look tough to stave off against these.
11. So Dazzling (10)
Can’t have.
12. Osmose (11)
Market watch fresh.
13. Ausbred Flirt (14)
Has good upside. Tricky draw but can give this a shake with luck from the barrier. Hard to beat with a good steer.

Finds the right race but tricky to win from out there.
