Gloaming Stakes 2023 Race Details
Race 4 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 14th of October 2023.
The Gloaming Stakes is a Group 3 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1800 metres. It is for horses aged three-years-old and is run under set weight conditions. The total prize money is $500,000 this year.

Gloaming Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Tom Kitten is the leading market elect and he is the one to beat in this. Should give these something to catch. Snowman has improved in leaps and bounds this prep and its form has stood up since. Ganbare is on the upward trajectory and can give this race a shake. Pushy has plenty of upside and goes in the mix while Kintyre brings in some sound form and also goes in the chances.
Ten of the runners had their last start in the Listed Dulcify Stakes over 1600m at Randwick on 30th September. Dundeel, Snitzel and Harry Angel have each sired two of the runners.
Gloaming Stakes 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Tanhauser (11)
Tough draw and stuck on the one win. Leaning to others.
2. Ganbare (18)
On an upward spiral but no favours from the draw. If it can land on the speed it should prove hard to beat.
3. Tom Kitten (3)
Deserving favourite that gets the dream map and run in transit. Looks very hard to beat.
4. Pushy (13)
Having a great prep. If this isn’t a run too many goes in the mix against these and gets along with Collett well who steers.
5. Raf Attack (2)
Sound so far this prep with good form lines. Maps well and should be in this for a long way.
6. Kintyre (12)
Don’t mind the form lines and ideal booking with Kah. Tough draw but has the class to win.
7. Ravello (1)
Maps kindly from the barrier but duck eggs so far at the track. Keep an eye on the market.
8. Snowman (10)
Great win last start and that form has been franked. Can roll forward from barrier 10 and prove hard to beat.
9. Noisy Boy (4)
Can’t have.
10. Glad You Think So (14)
Prefer others.
11. Cap Ferrat (5)
This looks too tough.
12. Highborn Harry (6)
Leaning to others.
