Track: Good Weather: Warm

A big field of three year old fillies has been assembled for the Group 3 Typhoon Tracy Stakes.  The Perth visitor My Bella Mae is the early favourite in the betting.  She has won five of six career starts with her only failure coming in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes.  Parisal is second favourite and has been well backed in early betting.  Paris Dior is the other horse in single figures.

1. Paris Dior

Has always shown plenty of ability and I loved the run first up at Flemington.  Kicked clear there only to be run down by a a really smart one with good gaps back to third and fourth horse.  Expecting her to run really well here with even luck in running.

2. My Bella Mae

Perth filly with a strong record.  The big query with her for me is the barrier.  She has had a beautiful sit in behind them to win her last two starts at Ascot and looks unlikely to get the same favours here from 12.

3. Wee Nesy

She was charging late in the Zedative to just miss Recommendation.  Barrier 14 is tricky.

4. Waltz On By

She was very plain first up.  Happy to watch her.

5. Cythera

Not disgraced at her two runs back.  Place chance at big odds.

6. Ojai

Happy to risk at 1200 especially given the draw.

7. Lady Laguna

Was solid first up at Flemington.  Drawn to do no work.

8. She Dances

Was a big drifter in the Hayes and could have to do it tough here from the wide draw.

9. Jaguar Stone

Happy to risk the Tasmanian form.

10. Mumbai Jewel

Resumes.  She was competitive last prep against the fillies but is another who has drawn poorly out in 15.

11. Winnertakesitall

Didn’t do enough first up in an easier contest to be considering here.

12. Parisal

Lightly raced daughter or Astern.  Has been very impressive win her last two starts in Sydney.  Love her drawn low.  One of the key winning hopes.

13. Clarity

Not here.

14. Royal Merchant

Getting deep into her preparation but that is rarely a negative for this stable.  Brings a different form line to most of these coming back from 1400m which I like.   Can run well.

15. La Danseuse Rouge – 1st EMERG

Has been there abouts at her two runs back and maps to do no work from barrier 1.  She should run well here at a price.

16. Wild Belle – 2nd EMERG

Was heavily backed down the straight last time and did not fire.  Back around a bend could help her here although the outside barrier makes things really tough.

17. Waverider Buoy – 3rd EMERG

Not here.

18. Greece – 4th EMERG

Needs four scratchings to get a run.  She has talent and 1200m suits.  Rough each way chance.
