Many hopes in this. Rocketing By lands on top having chased home Uncommon James fresh and gets a solid weight swing. It looks a huge price at $41.00 Asfoora goes in the mix off a good last start effort. Eduardo was brave in defeat fresh and he will be hard to topple here while Remarque also has large claims with the successful gelding operation and has come back a better horse.

1. Eduardo (13)

Pipped on the line fresh with a very good return run. He is usually better fresh and the barrier and amount of speed in this race is some query but he is all class and has won this race before. He can do it again with even luck.

2. Uncommon James (4)

Too short for mine. Extremely exciting prospect but shouldn’t be the price it is vs Rocketing By. Goes in the mix with the good draw and looks a top 4 chance in what is a wide open field.

3. In The Congo (11)  – SCRATCHED

4. Zoustyle (8)

Looks to be a stack of speed so where it lands in the run is vital to its chances.

5. Rocketing By (3)

Goes on top and looks mammoth odds. Has one length to find on Uncommon James and gets a large weight swing in its favour. Has beaten In The Congo and both last start wins have been at large prices. Maps Kindly and Gibbons steers.

6. Asfoora (5)

Extremely classy galloper that gets a dream run from barrier 5. Expecting it to take plenty of holding out in this affair and is a deserving favourite.

7. Remarque (9)

Having a brilliant prep and can pounce on these late. Well weighted and has come back a better horse as gelded. This looks the right race for it and the price is fair.

8. Mariamia (2)

Let punters down last start but maps Kindly and can bounce back if it takes more of a sit in the run. Suited by the strong tempo and just needs even luck to figure.

9. Shades Of Rose (10)

Very classy mare who is capable of winning this fresh. Needs to absorb some heat in the lead but goes in the mix against this lot.

10. Generation (12)

Struggling to get another win on the board. Prefer others.

11. Andermatt (7)

Won well last start but usually runs better earlier in its prep and does come across a much stronger field here. Leaning to others.

12. Key Largo (6)

Prefer others.

13. Cannonball (1)

Excellent win for us last week. Has to absorb more pressure in this but maps for a kind run in transit and is in the mix against these.
