2. Very Sewreel (8)
Won over 1600m at Moonee Valley on 27th January before leading them up to the bend in the Strutt Stakes then going head-to-head with Wings Of Song until the 100m and finishing 0.9 length 3rd. Good filly who should be in the finish.
3. Girls Girls Girls (4)
One of 2 runners sired by Fiorente (the other is Fiorente De Legend). She’s been runner-up at 3 of her 4 starts and surged late for 2nd to Wing Of Song in the Strutt. Won’t be a maiden much longer.
4. Overflow Miss (9)
Ran 2.9 lengths 4th in the Strutt Stakes. Won a 1600m maiden at Stawell 3 starts back.
5. Ala Moana (2)
Victorian filly having her first run in Tasmania. Ran 1.1 lengths 4th over 2100m at Sandown Lakeside on 7th February at her first go at the distance, showing some promise.
6. Buddong (7)
Finished 3.2 lengths 5th in the Strutt Stakes. Prefer others.
7. Sinister Sauce (5)
Fought hard for her maiden win (at start number 4) when stepping up to 1600m at Pakenham on 1st February. Breeding suggests she will get the distance.
8. Mizz Isle (6)
Stormed home to win by a length over 1700m at Stony Creek on 6th February. Will find this tougher.
9. Fiorente De Legend (3)
Still a maiden and ran 3.6 lengths 6th in the Strutt. Looking to others.
