Asfoora was a beaten favourite but will be strips fitter for the run and rates highly in this company. King’s Gambit has plenty of class and will be hard to hold out against these. Benedetta has a good map and draw. Should be right there in the finish. Hypothetical has plenty of pace. It can set the tempo and prove tough to run down. Plenty of other hopes.

Big return win and drawn to swoop on them again. No knock and is over the odds.

Declared it fresh and was just fair. Hard to beat here when strips fitter and prefer them taking a sit. Likeable.

Can’t have.

Loaded with upside and building a superb record. Poorly drawn but this race suits.

5. Chain Of Lightning (10)

Huge wraps from the trainer and far from hopeless here. Best chance at odds.

6. Najem Suhail (8)

Can’t have.

7. Recommendation (4)

Having a good prep and maps well. Goes in the mix.

8. Benedetta (5)

Absolute class that will be hard to beat from the gun draw. Got plenty of time for this horse and 53kgs is very ideal.

9. Brudenell (6)

Has the class and returned to form last start. Not hopeless.

10. Hypothetical (9)

Can lead and prove hard to catch. Goes right in the mix.

11. Lempicka (14)

Can’t have.

12. Mornington Glory (7)

Come a long way this prep but leaning to others.

13. Queman (2)

Winning machine but this looks a bit too tough.

14. Rey Magnerio (12)

Has overcome all challenges and deserves a spot here. Goes in the mix.

15. King’s Gambit (1)

Has big wraps but worried about the map from barrier 1. Very classy horse but will need a peach of a ride from there. Risky at the odds.
