Angus Armanasco Stakes 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Plenty of hopes. Autumn Angel gets the right run from barrier 4. Should be hard to beat in this field. Serasana has the quality to give this a shake but will need a little luck from the draw. Pure Paradise is heading the right way and should get a nice run from barrier 5. So Glamorous has been around the mark this prep and goes in the mix here against these. Sassy Boom leaps up in grade but is nicely placed here.

Can win this fresh. Form last prep was strong including a win on this track. Allen steers from the slightly awkward gate and this field is suitable.
2. Autumn Angel (4)
Deserving favourite who maps for a desirable run and should give this field a shake. Showed plenty of ability last prep and is going well enough to take this out fresh. Respect any market moves.
3. Pure Paradise (5)
Good win last start but leaps in grade here. Maps for a kind run and has the race fitness edge over a lot of these. Can win.
4. Harlow Mist (8)
Sound last prep with 3 wins from 6 starts. Did win fresh on debut and can show up here.
5. Sassy Boom (6)
Got the job done for us in fashion last start in a much easier race. Thrown in the deep end but has shown ability from the start and isn’t the roughest.
6. So Glamorous (9)
Should enjoy rising in trip and has to lift off last start but strikes the right race to be doing so.
7. Don’tdoubtlayla (3)
Going along okay and maps to get a solid run. Has had early market support and goes in the mix.
8. Sparkling (2)
Good effort the past 2 starts and gets Melham to steer back from injury. Has only missed the quinella once from 5 career goes which is a sound effort to date.
9. Rocking The Boat (1)
Good win when heavily tried on debut. Harder here but has the turn of foot to threaten and good enough to take the leap in grade.
10. Starlacca (10)
Can’t have.
