City Tatt’s Club Cup 2023 Race Details

Race 5 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 2nd of September 2023.

The City Tatt’s Club Cup is a Listed race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 2400 metres. It is for horses aged three-years-old and older and is run under quality handicap conditions. This year it is being ran as the Sydney City Lexus CTC Cup. The total prize money is $200,000 this year.

Track: Good Weather: Fine

Open field. Serpentine is capable of figuring fresh. Maps for the right run on speed. Military Mission goes in the mix and will just need a pinch of luck from the barrier. Kirkeby has class and will take beating from the Waller yard while Verona has to deal with the tough draw but is putting together a handy record.

Good enough to win this race. Has the form on the board and will be able to shoot forward for the lead. Likes this trip and is well placed against these.

Prefer others.

Mixing form this prep but has been racing in races tougher than this. Goes in the mix and gets the plum draw to launch from. Top 3 chance.
