Following the early scratching of Into The Light, there are 11 3YOs remaining for the 2024 Adelaide Galvanising Industries Adelaide Guineas with one colt, 4 geldings and 6 fillies. Three of the runners had their last start in the Listed H C Nitschke Stakes over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 20th April (won by Material Dreams), while the rest came via different races.

The top two are very close in the betting. The early favourite is Spirit Of Camelot who was 0.3 length 3rd in the Nitschke. Close behind in the betting is second favourite Poifect who comes off a win over 1400m at Flemington on 25th April. Third favouritism is shared between Sassy Boom who ran 5th in the Listed Bendigo Guineas last start, and Stylish who was runner-up over 1600m at Mornington. Seeking Stardom is on a 7 day back-up after running in the Group 3 SAJC Chairmans Stakes. All other runners are currently $20 or longer.

Won at this track and distance 2 starts back,  hen was 3rd at Morphettville Parks last start. Has drawn wide but could place.

2. Tippa (7)

Winner of his last 2 starts at Strathalbyn and Mildura. Not the worst.

3. Voltage Point (10)

Always well back in the Listed H C Nitschke Stakes over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 20th April (won by Material Dreams). Not keen.

4. Astrodean (8)

This colt won his maiden over 1722m at Gawler last outing, at his 4th start. Not out of it.

5. Aramoso (5)

Still a maiden after 10 starts. Looking to others.

6. Sassy Boom (6)

Ran 5th in the Listed Bendigo Guineas last start. She’s won 3 of her 10 starts and can make her presence felt.

7. Poifect (12)

Comes off a win over 1400m at Flemington on 25th April. A key player.

8. Stylish (3)

Was runner-up over 1600m at Mornington on 20th April where she led from the start and fought hard to only go down late,. Rates ghighly.

9. Into The Light (9)  – scratched

10. Spirit Of Camelot (4)

Ran 0.3 length 3rd in the Nitschke after coming feom well back and being held-up. That was a massive effort at just her 3rd race start. Can be in the finish.

11. Angelic Appeal (1)

Finished 3 lengths 5th in the Nitschke. Perfectly drawn and could place.

12. Seeking Stardom (2)

On a 7 day back-up after running in the Group 3 SAJC Chairmans Stakes. Prefer others.
