Hawkesbury Crown – 2024

Track: Good  Weather: Fine

Another absolutely packed field like it is for all the features. Shadows Of Love is going superbly this prep. Good run last start behind Territory Express which reads well. Ghaanati brings in the Victorian form and has good claims to be taking this out. Willinga Beast comes out of the same race as Shadows Of Love but had no luck. There was a length between them earlier on in the year. Madame Pommery likes the wet and goes in the host of chances.

Resumes and looks well placed in this company. More than capable of taking this out and has class on its side.

2. Ghaanati (11)

Brings in some good Victorian form and looks a major chance here. Tough draw but goes in the mix.

3. Mirra View (13)

Can’t have.

4. Razeta (2)

Fan of her but she is getting hard to catch. The positive is the heavy track record and this time last year won by nearly 3 lengths in these conditions. Putting her on top and hoping that sparks a form improvement and she was fourth up last time.

5. Shadows Of Love (5)

Going along super. Ran well when having every chance last start and a lot to like about the 2 wins prior.

6. Miss Hellfire (1)

Was chasing Wee Nessy and comes out of a good looking form race. Will need luck from barrier 1 but goes right in the mix.

7. Call Di (14)

Can’t have.

8. Pippali (20)

Prefer others.

9. Coco Jamboo (6)

This looks too tough.

10. Short Shorts (4)

Quality runner who flies on this track. Maps well but a very heavy track may be a query

11. Dalchini (7)

Can’t have.

12. Party For One (3)

Prefer others.

13. Willinga Beast (19)

Had no luck last start and best to pen the run. Needs to find a length on the favourite from when they met and is more than capable of doing so.

14. Russian Conquest (17)

Can’t have.

15e. Miss Faberge (12)

This looks too tough.

16e. Fall For Cindy (18)

Can’t have.

17e. Anagain (15)

Leaning to others.

18e. Madame Pommery (16)

Enjoys the wet conditions and may be able to find the outside part of the track. Goes in the mix.

19e. Sanstoc (8)

This looks too tough.

20e. French Endeavour (10)

Big fan but getting hard to catch. A heavy track does make things a query.
