Hawkesbury Gold Cup 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Stacked race and plenty of edges that can be taken. Detonator Jack has class on its side and should be going close. Nugget ran very well in the Doncaster and handles these conditions. Just Folk knows how to win and should be there abouts. Welwal and Berkshire Shadow will both need luck from their draws but both hold claims.

Classy runner who maps well, brings in the class edge and gets its chance from barrier 2. Has a booming finish but does need to be within range.
2. El Bodegon (5)
Far from hopeless. Loves a wet track and last time on the heavy handed it up to Anamoe. Hasn’t been in form lately but wet tracks might boost the spark.
3. Berkshire Shadow (20)
Very wide draw but going along well and the booking of Gibbons is ideal. Can win.
4. Nugget (13)
Superb run last start and was heavily backed. Will need things to go right from barrier 13 but going well enough to give this a shake.
5. Attractable (4)
Can’t have.
6. Just Folk (11)
Winner that needs some luck from 11 but loves the heavy tracks and is well placed in this field.
7. Bold Mac (21)
Can’t have.

Prefer others.

Will appreciate the drop in grade but need to see more.
