Hawkesbury Guineas 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Another packed race. Schwarz comes up favourite. Maps well from the good draw. Due for another win but finds the right opportunity. Konasana has a wide draw to overcome but has good claims and ideal booking with Gibbons. Butch Cassidy will want dry ground but goes in the mix. Panic is a winning machine but the draw doesn’t make things easy.

Due for another win but lines up here from barrier 2 and holds strong claims. Should get a lovely run from there and strikes a suitable race, albeit does look short enough in the market.

Won’t be easy from barrier 19 but has put together 3 wins in a row now and is flying. Holds strong claims.

Can’t have.
4. Butch Cassidy (6)
Wants dry ground but does map well and has class on this field. Keep an eye on the market.

Can’t have.

7. Konasana (11)
Won with authority last run at big odds. Can notch up another win here but has a wide draw to overcome. Gibbons is an ideal booking and this race is well within reach. Big hope.

No luck last start but again will need things to go right from the barrier.

Can’t have.
10. Midnight Opal (3)
Prefer others.
11. Bojangles (12)
Has been smacked in betting. Resuming and has nice claims to land the win here but does come up with a tricky draw.

Can’t have.

Has the ability but is getting tricky to catch. Maps for a lovely run but slight query on wet ground. Can win.
15. Keep Your Cool (1)
Will need luck from barrier 1 but both wins this prep have been impressive. Can give this a shake at big odds.
16. Hasty Honey (5)
Good enough to win this at huge odds. Maps well from barrier 5 and this race suits.
