Premiere Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
All eyes on Think About It who will take a power of beating in this and has secured a slot in The Everest. Remarque looks the one over the odds and can measure up to this lot. Hawaii Five Oh was brilliant last prep and is well placed in this field. Bella Nipotina was well backed in early markets and her form around Amelia’s Jewel reads super for a race of this calibre. Multiple chances but Think About It is the deserving favourite.
Premiere Stakes 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Lost And Running (1)
Needs to lift but has had excuses the past few runs and gets all the favours from barrier 1. Improvement wouldn’t shock.
2. Think About It (2)
Impossible to knock having won 9/10 to date and locked in for The Everest. Its a raffle away from Think About It who maps well and looks very hard to topple.
3. Mazu (4)
No luck last start and should improve with the draw. Chances enhanced if any rain is about but is overdue for another win.
4. Remarque (8)
Goes in the mix off the win 2 starts back. Is having a good prep and does seem the one the early markets have missed.
5. Athelric (10)
Can’t have.
6. Hawaii Five Oh (7)
Sound return and should be landing on the speed and showing fight. This race suits but will need to be very good to be beating the favourite. Top 3 chance.
7. Kote (9)
Can’t have.
8. Alcohol Free (5)
Overseas raider with good claims. Hard to line up the form but has a big rep and is a huge market watch in this. Respect any moves.
9. Bella Nipotina (6)
Was a huge price in early markets and has been well tried. The form around Amelia’s Jewel is great for this and she is as honest as the day is long. Top 3 must.
10. Zapateo (3)
Racing well and brings in the right form and gets a suitable map. Big hope.
