Gimcrack Stakes 2023 Race Details
Race 2 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 30th of September 2023.
The Gimrack Stakes is a Group 3 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1000 metres. It is for fillies aged two-years-old and is run under set weight conditions. The total prize money is $250,000 this year.

Gimcrack Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Soft Weather: Fine
Plenty to learn with all of these on debut. Lady Of Camelot comes up favourite and has the services of J-Mac. Must be respected on debut. Lady Tassort won her trial by 2 lengths in solid time. Invincible Madison was also good at the trials and showed a good turn of foot. Erno’s Cube has drawn awkwardly but had a soft trial and ran well. Celestial Bling narrowly beat Totoka in its trial and both have claims in this as well.

Sound trial and gets a nice draw. Placer chance on debut.

Can’t have.
3. Celestial Bling (2)
Sired by Capitalist this filly was sound in her trial and gets a nice draw. Chance.
4. Erno’s Cube (10)
Well tried in early markets and out of the leading stable. Big chance.
5. Invincible Madison (6)
Showed a good turn of foot in her trial and looks primed for this assignment.
6. Lady of Camelot (7)
Won a recent trial by 4 lengths and gets J-Mac to steer on debut. Likely to start favourite and sure to be hard to beat.
7. Lady Tassort (9)
Good trial win. One of 2 runners sired by Tassort (the other is Manaal) and just needs luck from the barrier to figure.
8. Manaal (3)
Can’t have.
9. Repose (8)
Prefer others.
10. Shoutaboutit (11)
This looks too tough.
11. Totoka (1)
Decent trial and comes up with barrier 1. Goes in the mix.

Can’t have.
