Godfather is well in the market, gets the right draw, right are and right jockey. Hard to beat in a suitable field. Cifrado was sound on debut and James Orman hops aboard while Torque I Tee ran a solid second in a good field and has the right running pattern to give this a shake. A bit to learn with a few on debut here but the tempo should be solid enough.

1. Risky Investment (2)

Jumped poorly last run and that was costly. Needs to sharpen up the barrier manners but has shown good ability to date and this race isn’t deep. Can take this out and worth keeping safe from the nice draw.

2. Torque I Tee (6)

Won well on debut before a good effort last start in a deep enough race. Thompson jumps aboard for the first time and it has been well tried in early markets. This is a winnable race and respect the market late.

3. Cifrado (7)

Debuted well and that form should hold up here. James Orman jumps aboard and this race is here for the taking. Cifrado brings in the best last start rating and has the advantage of race day experience.

4. Capital Chase (5)

Keep an eye on the market. A recent trial was a decent piece of work and this a winnable race. Byrne flies for the stable.

5. Godfather (3)

The market should tell all here but plenty of ticks with the placement of the Snowden yard, booking of Ryan Maloney and launching from a good draw. This race is very winnable and I have it on top but would like to see good market support.

6. Kanaird (8)

Can’t have.

7. Sovereign Fund (1)  – SCRATCHED
