Track: Good  Weather: Fine

Strong edition of this years cup. Goldman bounced back to form when resuming and comes up with a kind draw. Hezashocka has been finding it hard to win lately but should be hard to hold out in a race of this depth. Naval College has so much upside and talent. Only query will be fitness as it is resuming. Bois D’argent finds it hard to win but goes in the mix and Future History is also among the host of chances.

2. Naval College (14)

Huge fan of Naval College. It does have to give most of the field fitness but there was so much to like about a few of its wins last prep. Building up a fine record, the niggles are fitness and the wide draw.

3. Bois D’argent (12)

Struggling to win lately but goes well over this trip with 3 placings from 3 attempts and has run a placing on the track. Tough draw but is a contender.

4. Goldman (1)

Bounced back to form when resuming and can go one better here. Barrier 1 is ideal and expect it to land right up on speed and prove hard to run down.

5. Future History (8)

Gets a decent weight drop off the back of a sound run last start. Can land up on the speed and has been very well tried in early markets. Goes close.

6. Mankayan (13)

Tough runner for punters to catch but hard to knock how the stable are going this year. Gets back in the pack but watch for it late.

7. Sir Lucan (15)

Might find a bit too much speed and pressure in this. Looking at others.

8. Esti Fenny (11)

Won this race last year and comes off the back of a last start win in open company beating Little Mix. Hard horse to catch but capable of taking this out.

9. Hezashocka (7)

Racing honestly and does get a nice map from barrier 7. Due for another win but gets its chance here.

10. Not Usual Glorious (6)

Loves these conditions and looks a big player in this field. Hasn’t won from 11 attempts on good footing but boasts 13 wins from 29 goes in the soft or heavy range. Big hope.

11. Gan Teorainn (2)

Can’t have.

12. Double Cherry (10)

Prefer others.

13. Commander Bell (4)

Can’t have.

14. Verona (3)

Has to lift on form to take this out.

15. Camaguey (9)

Can’t have.
