Hollindale Stakes 2024 Race Details
Race 7 at Sunshine Coast Racecourse on Saturday the 11th of May 2024.
The Hollindale Stakes is a Group 2 race held at Sunshine Coast Racecourse this year over 1200 metres. It is for three-year-olds and upwards and is run under weight for age conditions. The total prize money is $500,000 this year.

Fourteen runners have accepted for the 2024 TAB A.D. Hollindale Stakes with 12 geldings and 2 mares. There is one 4YO, six 5YOs, one 6YO, four 7YOs and two 8YOs. Two runners had their last start in the Group 3 JRA Plate over 2000m at Randwick on 20th April (won by Huetor), and two in the Listed Brisbane Quality over 1600m at Eagle Farm on 27th April (won by Mighty Ulysses), while the rest came via different races. Two are sired by Territories. Four runners are trained by Annabel Neasham, who won the last 3 editions of this race with Zaaki, two by Peter & Paul Snowden and two by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott.
The early favourite is Huetor who was runner-up last year to Zaaki and comes off a win in the JRA Plate. Second favourite is Kovalica who was 5th to Pride Of Jenni in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes over 2000m at Randwick last start. Third favourite is Just Folk who won the Group 3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup last Saturday. Mighty Ulysses was a last-start winner of the Brisbane Quality Mile. The other runners are currently $13 or longer.
