The query remains on whether Chalk Stream can put two in a row together. Has taken a while to figure it out on AUS shores but did secure a dominant win last start and finds the right race to go on with things. Persan has plenty of class and trialled up nicely. Swords Drawn has been around the mark this prep while Princess Rhaenys will be in the mix at good odds and is capable enough of taking this out.

1. Persan (5)

Goes on top. Class of the field that has trialled nicely, should land into a plum spot from the draw and is proven above this level. The odds are fair and the stable are one to back over staying trips. Hard to beat.

2. Sound (6)

Prefer others.

3. Chalk Stream (9)

I have my queries on Chalk Stream backing up its last run. Impressive win but took a while to hit its straps. It would have to be taken on trust that it can replicate last run and the price looks short enough.

4. Nerve Not Verve (1)

Hard to catch but suited to this track and trip. Can lead these up and give cheek at a price.

5. Swords Drawn (10)

Has been knocking on the door and finds the right race to be winning. Overcoming barrier 10 is the query but with even luck from the draw it can go one better in this.

6. Helene Leadingstar (4)

Plain last time out but suited to this trip. Jye McNeil should give it every chance from the kind draw and this race is a suitable target. Can win.

7. Stars Of Carrum (8)

Should enjoy the rise in trip and brings in the right form. The gate is the slight query. Top 4 player.

8. Princess Rhaenys (7)

Racing well and certainly is good enough to take this out. Jamie Kah does the steering and a repeat of its past 2 efforts will see it in the finish in this.

9. Eaton (3)

Strong last start win and strikes another suitable race. Putting together back to back wins is usually a task for Eaton but if it can hold its form it will go close.

10. True Marvel (2)

Going along well and maps for a kind run. Slight rise in depth here but ticking along well enough to figure.
