He has 3 wins and 6 places from 12 starts. At his latest start he finished 1.5 lengths 3rd behind My Bella Mae over 1100m at Ascot on 28 January. Likely to race on the speed and one of the main chances.

2. Man Crush (12)

Hasn’t raced since 26 November when he was less than 4 lengths off the winner in the Listed Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic. Three starts back he was 0.2 length 2nd behind Amelia’s Jewel in the Listed Belgravia Stakes over 1200m at Ascot. Winning chance.

3. Hear My Prayer (10)

Slowly away but ran on strongly to be beaten less than a length over 1200m at Belmont on 1 February where he had the best final 400m. Can make his presence felt.

4. Wojtek (13)

Has been racing well at Geraldton this campaign but is stepping up from provincial grade and has drawn the widest barrier. Not the worst.

5. Only Eyes For Him (6)

He has had 2 starts and ran 2.2 lengths 3rd at Pinjarra at his latest start. This is much harder. Looks tested.

6. Nyet (2)

He has been spelled since his debut in October and has trialled well. Rough chance.

7. Mia Gusto (8)

She has 3 wins from 8 starts, including one at this distance. Shouldn’t be far away at the finish.

8. Divine Inanna (3)

Broke her maiden status with a 1200m win at Belmont last start, following 2 runner-ups. Place chance.

9. Malkar Pindari (1)

She has placed at all 4 of her starts and has drawn barrier 1. Can make her presence felt.

10. Celebrity Icon (4)

Runner-up at both starts this campaign, at Belmont and Pinjarra. This looks too hard.

11. Platinum Class (11)

Three places from 6 starts. Resumes after a 27 week spell and don’t think she will break her maiden status here.

12. Snippenova (5)

Has 1 place from 3 starts. Prefer others.

13. Miss Ava (9)

First starter who has had enough trials to be race ready. Keep an eye on the market.
