2023 Sheila Gwynne Classic Runner by Runner

1. Angelic Miss (5)

One of 2 runners for Simon A Miller (the other is Stellar Vista). She was a length 3rd in the Marjorie Charleson last start and meets the winner of that race 1.5 kg better at the weights. She has a great record at this track and is one of the main chances..

2. Jadavi (1)

The oldest runner in the race. Last campaign was poor as she raced 5 times without placing, but that was mainly at Group level. Has never fired first-up in the past so prefer others here. She was a good trial winner at Lark Hill on 17 April, so could get into the money.

3. Gunmetal Grey (4)

Won the Marjorie Charleson last start where she ran on strongly and got there just in time. Expect she will be in the finish again.

4. Jag The Joker (3)

On a 6 day back-up after finishing 0.6 length 2nd over 1400m at Geraldton on 16 April. She has a couple of wins at the distance but hasn’t won at Ascot in her 8 outings there.

5. Stellar Vista (2)

She has a great record at this track and distance and has won previously with Holly Watson aboard. Will make her presence felt.

6. Vitalize (6)

Resumes from an 18 week spell and won a recent trial at Belmont. Place chance.
