It should be a good contest beween the top 2 runners.

2022 Belgravia Stakes Runner by Runner

1. Snowdome (7)

At the end of last preparation he was a 0.9 length winner of the Group 3 W.A. Sires’ Produce Stakes. After a 25 week spell he resumed for a 3/4 length win in the 3YO Classic on 8 October. Lovely colt who is one of the two main chances.

2. Amelia’s Jewel (1)

She is unbeaten in 3 starts and resumes from a 29 week break. On debut she won the Listed Supremacy Stakes by 2.2 lengths, then won the Group 3 WATC Gimcrack Stakes by 2.5 lengths, then the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate by 2.4 lengths. Came 2nd in a recent trial. Talented filly who is one of the two main chances.

3. Man Crush (6)

One of two runners for Luke Fernie. Finished 1.7 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Belmont last start and returns to a shorter trip. Has won at Ascot twice. Not the worst.

4. Swim Through (3)

One of two runners for Ashley Maley. Last start winner at Ascot and won’t be far away in the run.

5. Uncle Gerard (2)

He has placed at all 3 of his starts. Resumes here after nine weeks and this will be his first race at Ascot. Won a recent Lark Hill trial.

6. Rumour Says (5)

This filly won her first two starts, both at Belmont, then had a 16 week break. She resumed for 1.6 lengths 3rd behind Snowdome in the 3YO Classic at Ascot on 8 October and should take improvement from that run.

7. Penny On The Queen (4)

She has raced 7 times for a win and 3 placings. Resumed for 2.6 lengths 7th behind Snowdome on 8 October. Looking to others.

8. Azena (8)

She has 2 wins and a place from 3 starts. Resumes from a six-week let-up and having her first race at Ascot. Should run well.
