WH Stocks Stakes 2022 Preview
Track: Soft Weather: Fine
An intriguing race where Kissonallforcheeks leads the market. It won well last start but will need some luck from the draw. Glint Of Hope looks nicely placed in this field and will be hitting the line hard while Lady Of Honour maps to get a soft lead and will be hard to mow down around the tight track.
WH Stocks Stakes 2022 Runner by Runner
1. Kissonallforcheeks (7)
Won in a strong race last start and finds a slightly easier task here. I am against it at the price. It was lucky to win last run after Yearning was caught in a horrid spot. It sees the track for the first time and maps awkwardly. Zahra is 2/2 aboard and the horse has an abundance of ability but the $2.45 is short enough given the map and track.
2. Foxy Frida (4)
Flies over this trip and has a strong record on soft footing and 2nd up. Needs the gaps to come at the right time but look well placed.
3. Barbie’s Fox (5)
Has a very poor strike rate and yet to fire at this track. Prefer others.
4. Groovy Kinda Love (1)
Prefer others.
5. Sky Horse (3)
Racing well but prefer in something easier.
6. Defiant Diva (8)
Can’t have.
7. Elusive Express (6)
1/1 with Kah aboard, 2/3 on soft and hasn’t missed the quinella over this trip. Won’t find this race any easier than its first up run but ticks enough boxes to give this a shake.
8. Glint Of Hope (9)
Outstanding Mare with a superb turn of foot. Barrier 9 and Moonee Valley have to be queries with its runing pattern. Moor will need some luck but it can figure in the finish if it gets the gaps.
9. Daisies (2)
Can run well here. Maps nicely, 1/1 with Lane aboard, 1/1 at Moonee Valley. Huge chance at very healthy odds.
10. Lady Of Honour (10)
Maps to absolute perfection in this. Should lead these up and give a kick. Noonan rides very well and the track suits, on top and hard to beat.
11. Seonee (11)
Going very well. Harder here but worth respecting any market moves.
