Track: Good Weather: Fine

Wide open field with stacks of hopes. Magic Time will need luck from the barrier but has been racing in consistent fashion and is a solid chance in this field. I Am Me has built up a superb record and has Blake Shinn doing the steering. Vilana has a stack of class and looks well placed in a race like this. The best version of Ayrton would give this a shake and the chances don’t end there.

1. Vilana (1)

Classy runner that looms around a nice price in this.  Yet to hit its peak this prep and will do no work from the barrier. Hard to beat in this affair.

2. I Am Me (10)

Barrier 10 does make things tricky but building a great record and should prove hard to stave off in this.

3. Strait Acer (4)

Has gone in leaps and bounds this prep and has some superb form for this race. Maps for a kind run and this race looks well within reach.

4. Bandersnatch (3)

Likeable draw and map. This field suits and is the best roughie of the race. Can win.

5. Skew Wiff (12)

Harder race here but good last start win and may well go on with things.

6. The Inferno (7)

Has been a long time between drinks but certainly has the right credentials for this and form for this. Impossible to back with any confidence but best is good enough.

7. Ayrton (6)

Mixing form but classy runner when on song. This race is suitable and barrier 6 should provide the right run in transit.

8. Zoutori (2)

Can’t have.

9. Buffalo River (19)

Prefer others.

10. Chain Of Lightning (11)

Tough draw but well up to these and should give this race a shake. Like its chances off the last run and weighted kindly.

11. Magic Time (15)

Tough draw but love the form lines and carries no weight. Where to from the barrier is a massive query but this race isn’t out of reach.

12. Munhamek (18)

Unlucky fresh but very tough draw. Goes in the mix.

13. Cause For Concern (8)

Racing in superb fashion and gets the services of Kah. Good enough to win.

14. General Beau (16)

Prefer others.

15. Crosshaven (5)

Like it in something easier.

16. Wrote To Arataki (13)

Solid win last start. Much harder here. Respect any market moves.

17. Not An Option (9)

This looks too tough.

18. Military Expert (17)

Prefer others.

19. Umgawa (14)

Can’t have.
