Track: Soft Weather: Fine

A dash up the straight where they will go like the wind. Ashford Street probably wouldn’t want this race a metre further but comes into it favourite and has been in flying form, producing some very strong ratings. Sirius Suspect has been thereabouts and knocking on the door while Savatoxl has an abundance of speed and will be leading them up. Expecting strong tempo and a fast speed throughout.

1. Savatoxl (4)

Classy sprinter that has an abundance of speed and a really nice 4th up record. Should be finding the rail and proving hard to mow down.

2. Ocean Beyond (1)

Great hope in this field. Has always shown talent and the win 2 starts back was excellent. Major player against these.

3. Sirius Suspect (5)

Isn’t getting any younger but is aging like a fine wine and continues to race exceptionally well. Needs another win and gets that chance here.

4. Ashford Street (3)

Hard to knock and brings the strongest ratings into this race. The distance has to be a slight query but Ashford Street is racing exceptionally well and will take a power of beating in this field.

5. Sartorial Splendor (11)

Brings in the red hot form and can pounce late on a solid speed. Already a winner at the track, little separates it and Zac De Boss.

6. Zac De Boss (7)

Loves the straight and continues to win. Cartwright is 2/2 aboard so the bond is strong, he sticks and this is a very suitable set up yet again for another win for Zac.

7. William Thomas (2)

Ran 3rd in this race last year. Can’t have.

8. Crestani (6)

Best roughie in the field despite the record at the track. Brings in rock solid form and maps to be just off the speed. Keep safe and consider backing if there is a market move for it late.

9. Miss Albania (8)

Needs another win on the board but has a win at the track and very classy when right. Respect and monitor any market moves.

10. Florescent Star (9)

Holland has an excellent record aboard and this Star is anything but out of the race. Has made the quinella twice from 4 goes at the track and when it produces its best, it is very hard to beat. Top 4 player.

11. Belsielle (10)

Going okay but prefer others.
